REVIEWS OF NULEV

I was diagnosed with IBS about four years ago, after regularly suffering from abdominal cramps that were so bad I'd have to lay on the floor of my office for an hour or two before I felt well enough to make the 30-minute drive home. After thinking stress was what was making me sick, as I was going through a divorce, I decided to see a gastroenterologist to find out what was wrong with me, and after several tests and x-rays he told me I had IBS.

He also prescribed Nulev, and while it doesn't always get rid of the pain right away, it makes it tolerable and the episodes seem to be much shorter than without it. I'd highly recommend, along with watching your diet and exercising to deal with stress, that you keep this on hand for your next bout of IBS. I don't take it except for when I start feeling like my intestines are being tied in knots...it helps relieve the tension. I'm glad I found out what was wrong with me, and that I have something that can give me some relief.

I went to six doctors before I found out I had IBS. Since my doctor put me on Nulev four years ago I can't thank him enough. I call Nulev my wonder-drug. It has never let me down.

I had for years experienced abdominal pain, gas, etc, all the effects of IBS, but not knowing what was wrong and thinking it was just bad PMS and periods. I recently returned from a vacation and I was living on over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs, but I was still in severe pain with bloating and gas.

I went to my doctor and I was finally sent to a gastro doctor and found out I had IBS and diverticulosis. I was put on antibiotics and Nulev. In a matter of two days I felt like I had not felt since I was a child. Every pain was gone. I still have to eat a good high fiber diet and lots of water, but the Nulev is an absolute Godsend for me. I feel the cramping or gas start and pop the little pill in my mouth, and in 20 minutes the pain is gone and I remember to stop eating the bad stuff.

I'm currently taking Nulev 125mg, though I can't see much of a difference. I've been struggling with IBS for years now. I'm currently still in high school which makes it hard. I miss a lot of school and the stress from school doesn't help much. I get diarrhea often, and I don't feel like Nulev helps at all.

I take one Nulev every morning and bring one to school, which I rarely take. Hopefully I'll see my doctor again soon. Over the past two days I've been getting insane amounts of pain. I've always had stomach pains and cramping, but it was nothing compared to what I've been having these two days. I feel doubled over in pain and I'm taking two or three Nulev a day, but nothing seems to help. Hopefully I will be prescribed a drug that will work for me - sadly, Nulev just doesn't seem to be helping me much.

I have IBS with diarrhea, which has been very severe for a little less than a year (I was diagnosed in September of 2005). Along with the urgency and frequent attacks - I was having up to 15 attacks a day at one point - I also had very painful cramps at night.

After talking to my gastroenterologist, he prescribed Nulev for the cramping. I love that it dissolves on the tongue so relief is quicker than taking a tablet. I can usually get relief from a cramp in less than 10 minutes after I take Nulev, whereas without the medication the cramping lasts for hours. It seems to be quite effective for treating those horrible, feels like a horse kicked me in my stomach kind of cramps. I haven't noticed any relief from my diarrhea or urgency when I take Nulev, but I do not take it regularly - I only take it when I cannot bear the cramping any longer.

I have suffered with abdominal pain for many years and just dealt with it. I would take many different over the counter medicines that seemed to help a little. I finally saw a specialist three years ago and he prescribed Nulev. It worked wonders! I was to the point that I was afraid to eat much of anything because it seemed to upset my system. I lost a lot of weight - a few pounds was OK but I lost too much to be healthy.

I'm so glad I have Nulev to help me get through every day. I've learned what I can eat and what I can't or shouldn't. Nulev helps when I want a little something that isn't on my list of things I can eat. It's so small and melts away as soon as I take it. I love it!

I have used Nulev for several months due to severe stomach cramps with IBS. It works wonders, especially when you are caught away from home. Another thing that works is a 4oz glass of cold water with one teaspoon of baking soda in, it cuts all the gas out which stops the cramping. This is a wonderful thing if you can handle the taste.

My body has always responded to stress and anxiety with wrenching abdominal pain, sour gut, and nausea. Episodes would last for months until the stress was eliminated. I finally went to my doctor and she prescribed Nulev. I was relieved to experience immediate relief of all my symptoms. It was very easy to take (melts in your mouth), and I had no waiting period for the drug to take effect. And I have never experienced any adverse side effects. I am very happy with the product.

I have been embarrassed many times while outdoors with the sudden rush of my bowels. It's not pleasant. I went to see a specialist who recommended Nulev, once a day. It took several weeks before my problem was controlled. I am very happy with the results. The one item of food I must not eat is anything green. Unfortunately I am very fond of green vegetables but that's the price I must pay for peace of mind.

I am an 18 year-old female who has suffered from abdominal pain, cramping, diarrhea, you name it, for as long as I could remember. It took almost two years to convince my parents that I needed help after spending three years of high school inside crying over my problem.

Convinced that I was just imagining things and making things up, my mother finally took me to a gastroenterologist, thinking she would prove me wrong. After explaining to me that I had IBS, my gastroenterologist spoke with me about some options. And boy, did mom feel like a fool!

My doctor prescribed Nulev, which literally saved my life. I take Nulev in the morning before school and the pain, gas, cramping, and diarrhea completely go away! Although it says to take it every six hours, I feel that I only need to take it once a day and that's it.

Because of Nulev, my senior year of high school has been incredible! I stay after school and join activities, go out on the weekends, and I'm even planning to go on vacation for spring break with a bunch of my friends.

What's great is that Nulev looks and tastes like a little mint! So, while my friends think I'm taking a mint, I'm really taking Nulev, my lifesaver! I recommend Nulev for anyone who suffers from pain and cramping accompanied with diarrhea. You will not regret taking Nulev, it really works!
